Sierra Lutheran High School (Carson City, NV) Dedicates New Buildings


Sierra Lutheran High School in Carson City, Nevada held a Grand Opening for its new building additions on May 21. With over 22,000 square feet of space, these new additions double the size of the school allowing for growth in enrollment, programming, and meeting space. There is now space for six new classrooms, a multi-media (igloo) room, collaboration areas, offices, bathrooms, and an event center which seats over 400. Head of School Micah Glen led the ceremonies that included short speeches by SLHS alumni and current students. The program ended with the ribbon cutting and tours of the new buildings. The Grand Opening included a dedication of their new worship and event space in honor of past principal, Pastor Juls Clausen and is now known as the PC Center (PC is for Pastor Clausen).
