  • Rev. Richard Barklage, pastor emeritus, requests prayers of thanksgiving for successful surgery – the cancer was removed and his lymph nodes are clear.

  • For the family of Rev. Jon Coyne, Bethany, Menlo Park, CA. He entered the church triumphant on Friday evening, July 25, 2025. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, 3pm, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 1095 Cloud Avenue, Menlo Park, CA. Please keep the Coyne family in your prayers.

  • Rev. David Floyd, Faith, Pleasant Hill, CA, for care, comfort, and guidance for doctors to clearly diagnose and prescribe treatment for his liver cancer.

  • Karen Krueger, wife of Rev. Ed Krueger, pastor emeritus, as she is in the moderate stage of Alzheimer’s. Please pray for her and her caregivers.

  • Rev. Dr. Walt Tietjen, pastor emeritus, and CNH District President emeritus, had complete replacement of his left shoulder on Monday, August 25. Pray also for his wife, Ione, who struggles with Parkinson’s Disease.
