MAP (Ministry Applied Practice) Event in Livermore
Pastors in their initial calls, (1st, 2nd , and 3rd years) met in Livermore from the CNH (California-Nevada-Hawaii), NOW (Northwest), and PSD (Pacific Southwest) Districts, together with the District Presidents and some Executive Staff on October 21-23, 2024.
It’s an important time for training, building relationships and orienting pastoral workers for West Coast Ministry. We also fellowshipped and relaxed together. Rev. Jonathan Manor who represents the Synodical National Office also attended as we work to learn and build stronger ties with the PALs program. LCEF ‘s Matt Molinari is also an important participant and sponsor of the event.

School Spotlight - Trinity Lutheran School, Wahiawa, HI
Trinity Lutheran School in Wahiawa, Hawaii, has been serving as a ministry of the Trinity congregation in the central part of Oahu since 1953. The school serves families in their community as well as serving a significant number of military families from local bases. Kyle Klemp has been leading the school's 142 students as principal for the past five years.
This past week, Trinity observed Red Ribbon Week, a week dedicated to drug abuse prevention. One fun way the school put a focus on this observance was with special dress up days. On Tuesday, it was crazy hair and mismatched socks day. The staff got into the spirit of this day along with the students! We praise God for this continued ministry.
