School Spotlight: Trinity Lutheran Preschool (San Rafael, CA)

Trinity Lutheran Preschool is a ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church in San Rafael, California. Built into the side of a hill in an old rock quarry, Trinity has been a part of the Central San Rafael community since 1938 and at their present location since 1961. The church started an elementary school early on in their development, but it closed shortly thereafter. In 1983, Trinity Lutheran Preschool opened and has been sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ daily for the past 43 years. The preschool has an enrollment of 78 students ranging from 2 to 5 years old and is served by a staff of 12 teachers. The Preschool Director, Natalie Levy, has been at the preschool since 2002 and director since 2009. Natalie’s husband, Dave, is a DCE at the church and is also enrolled in the CMC (Cross Cultural Ministry) program and will lead to becoming an ordained pastor in two more years. Trinity Lutheran Church also has an after-school program called the TNT Club for 6-8th grade middle school students. It got its name because it originally only met on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We celebrate the mission and ministry of Trinity Lutheran Preschool!
