School Spotlight: St. Mark Lutheran Preschool (Elko, NV)

St. Mark Lutheran Preschool is a ministry of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Elko, Nevada and is located at the eastern most border of the CNH District. The church started in 1957, and the preschool has been serving the Elko community since 1988. Jake Eisinger serves as the pastor at St. Mark. Jake also grew up in Elko as a member of St. Mark. The current preschool director is Charolette Torres, who has been at St. Mark since 2024. This year, the preschool has an enrollment of 49 three- to five-year-olds served by five staff members. Due to space constraints, the St. Mark leadership is starting the feasibility process of building a dedicated space for the preschool. The leadership at St. Mark is dedicated to ensuring that the preschool continues to be a vibrant part of the ministry outreach and service to the Elko community.
