Meet CMC candidate A Pao Xiong

Meet A Pao Xiong - candidate for the pastoral ministry from Peace Lutheran in Fresno, CA. Apao was at the CNH office to talk through his candidacy for the pastoral ministry through the Cross Cultural Ministry Center.

A Pao, a 2nd generation Hmong, (child of immigrants) and his wife Khou are parents of four teen and pre-teen children.  A Pao serves as an elder at Peace Lutheran with Rev. Clint Hoff and Rev. Khai Lee. He has a special heart for 2nd Generation Hmong and the need to befriend and evangelize this group and their peers of all cultures.

The CMC route is housed at CUI (Concordia University Irvine) and is certified for full pastoral ministry through Concordia Seminary St. Louis.  A part of the coursework also involves the starting of an evangelistic culture crossing ministry.
