Why Do We Gather Together?
Church leaders in the CNH District—including administrators, directors, DCEs, and pastors—are invited to attend a special meeting and workshop on Friday, September 26 at the CNH District Office, titled: “Coalescing in Christ – For the Kingdom.”
This is just one of many opportunities for leaders in our district to come together for professional growth, mutual support, and fellowship.
But why is gathering together so important?
Hebrews 10:24-25 gives us a powerful reminder:
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
When we gather:
· We learn and grow personally.
· We bless others with our presence, experience, and encouragement.
· We live out one of the core purposes of the District: supporting and sharing our gifts with one another.
Meeting together also helps our mental and emotional health. There is something deeply healing about sharing joys, struggles, and burdens with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
We know your days are full and responsibilities are many—but stepping away, even briefly, to connect with other church and school leaders is a gift and a blessing.
