A group of Pastors, Administrators, Directors, and DCEs participated in a Joint Meeting & Workshop on September 26 with the theme "Coalescing in Christ - For the Kingdom". The workshop was led by Brian Underwood with Sierra Vista Ministries. Brian is a former Executive Director at Sierra Lutheran High School in Carson City, Nevada and Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine, California. The focus was on the importance of developing “trust” in the culture at our Lutheran schools and centers. Brian shared some important data and resources on how we can better create an atmosphere of trust among leadership teams, on faculties and staffs, and with those we serve. A great resource that was shared is the book Trust – Knowing When to Give it, When to Withhold it, How to Earn it, and How to Fix it When it Gets Broken by Dr. Henry Cloud. This event was part of an annual joint meeting and workshop this time of year designed to bring together administrators, directors, DCEs, and pastors of schools to learn together as leadership teams.
