BALYA hosts Young Lutheran Singles Gathering

On June 27, nearly 30 young adults from across California gathered at Lutheran Church of Our

Savior in Cupertino, CA for the Young Lutheran Singles Gathering, hosted by Bay Area

Lutheran Young Adults (BALYA), an endeavor of Lutheran Church of Our Savior dedicated to

fostering fellowship among young Lutheran adults.

The day began with the Order of Matins from the Lutheran Service Book, centering the

gathering in God's Word and prayer before participants enjoyed a full schedule of activities

designed to encourage conversation and meaningful connections.

Throughout the day, attendees took part in group icebreakers, team-building activities, improv games, a presentation, and free time, with shared meals providing additional opportunities to get to know one another.

The gathering concluded with Evening Prayer, after which several attendees chose to stay later to continue conversations and enjoy card games together.

BALYA continues to regularly host events as it seeks to foster fellowship amongst young

Lutheran adults throughout the region.
