“The primary goal of this book is to examine the treasures of faith that come from praying,” Jones writes. “As we examine these treasures, we will look at their sources in the Bible. We will consider what praying teaches us about God and about ourselves. We will consider what fruit grows in our lives of faith through the treasure of talking with God. As we examine these treasures, we will continually learn what it means to pray.”

Ten Treasures of Learning to Pray holds these treasures up to the light. Each chapter shows how Jesus and other prayer guides model each treasure, what those examples teach readers about God and His people, and what fruit prayer produces. Reflection questions and activities for each treasure help readers practice praying, both on their own and with a group.

The new book completes Jones’s trilogy, which includes Ten Questions to Ask Every Time You Read the Bible (CPH, 2022) and Ten Lies Satan Loves to Tell (CPH, 2025).
