After years of dedicated study, prayer, and preparation, a joyful milestone has arrived! On a Call Day filled with excitement and hope, 112 students from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, and 84 students from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, received their placements for first calls into pastoral and diaconal ministry, as well as their assignments as vicars and deaconess interns.
We are especially excited to welcome new workers to the CNH District! Isaiah Mudge received his vicarage assignment to serve under Pastor Rob Weller at Shepherd of the Valley and First Immanuel in San Jose, CA. In addition,
Kanagasabai Umashankar (Uma) was placed as Pastor at Messiah Lutheran Church in Ewa Beach, HI.
Pamela Vue (Peace, Fresno) was placed as a Deaconess Intern at Bethelem, St. Louis (Missouri).
We praise God for raising up these faithful servants and sending them into His Harvest Field. As they step into these new roles, may the Lord bless and guide their ministry, and may their work bring hope, healing, and the love of Christ to the communities they serve!
