Lutheran Educator Conferene: Why You Should Attend

The Lutheran Educator Conference (LEC) is a collaborative conference sponsored by the California-Nevada-Hawaii (CNH) District and the Pacific Southwest District (PSD) of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS). This conference provides a unique and valuable experience for Lutheran school teachers and administrators, focusing on three essential goals: Spiritual Nurture, Professional Learning, and Fellowship.
What distinguishes LEC from traditional professional development conferences is its emphasis on nurturing educators not only professionally, but also spiritually and personally. The conference provides opportunities for Lutheran educators to grow in their faith, strengthen relationships with fellow church workers, and develop the knowledge and skills needed to serve effectively in their schools and ministries. Through shared worship, fellowship, and professional learning, participants are encouraged and equipped for their calling as Lutheran educators.
By partnering with the Pacific Southwest District and bringing together more than 1,000 participants, the conference benefits from the combined resources of both districts to provide outstanding speakers, presenters, and learning opportunities. This collaboration strengthens our Lutheran school community while supporting the continued growth and effectiveness of educators as they serve students, families, and communities throughout the CNH District.
