“What if caring for your own well-being could strengthen your ministry, your joy, and your daily walk with God?”
That’s the heart behind our new CNH District wellness initiative, Healthy Living, Healthy Serving. In 2026, we’re inviting every church worker to take simple, meaningful steps toward physical, mental, and spiritual health so that as we serve others, we do so from a place of strength, not exhaustion.
In partnership with Concordia Plans, the CNH District is launching a church worker wellness initiative for 2026 called, "Healthy Living, Healthy Serving" based on Romans 12:1, "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship."

This year, we want to encourage every church worker in the CNH District to take simple, intentional steps toward a healthier lifestyle—because your well-being matters.
To support you, we’re aiming to increase participation in Vitality® through Concordia Plans, or a similar wellness program offered through your church or school’s health plan. These tools help you track your personal progress and allow us, as a district, to grow healthier together.
If you’re on a different health plan, check with your provider about any wellness resources they offer. We’ve also included a list of wellness programs available in California, Nevada, and Hawaii to help you get started. If you haven’t already, now’s a great time to sign up for Vitality®, or the wellness incentive program offered through your church or school’s health plan.
Our challenge for the 2nd Quarter is to walk or be active for at least 5000 steps a day or 150 minutes each week for six weeks. The challenge will run from May 10 to June 27.
To help encourage participation, we’re holding a special $250 drawing for those participating who are signed up for Vitality and another $250 drawing for those who do not have Vitality.
If you are already signed up for Vitality (it is not too late to do so), click on this Vitality Challenge Link for information on how to sign up for the Activity Challenge.
If you are not in Vitality, you can still participate. Just use this Activity Challenge Link to submit your information each week.
(These links are not active until May 10)
For information on signing up for Vitality®, go to Getting Started with Vitality. Here also is a quick video if you need additional help. If you have any questions, contact Joel Wahlers at the CNH District Office.
Pastors and Administrators:
Please help us spread the word by sharing this initiative with all staff—whether they serve in your church, school, or ministry team. Let’s work together to make 2026 a year of renewed health, energy, and joyful service across the entire CNH District!
