2026 CNH Administrators Conference

Updated: Jan 8

The CNH District will have a School Administrator Conference for the first time this year on February 3-5!  Although administrators can find professional growth opportunities in a variety of places, it has become increasingly clear that there is a need for our District school administrators to come together and better connect with one another as we grow spiritually and professionally.  As leaders in Lutheran schools, administrators can feel isolated and do not always have the support of others who are going through the same challenges and successes as they are.  Pastors meet together as circuits, but this is not a common practice for school leaders.  Connection and collaboration are key goals of the CNH District, and our hope is that this will become an annual opportunity for mutual support as we grow together and share with one another.

We are excited to have some special guests and presenters join us.  Dr. Tara Rolle from CAPSO will be here to talk about the impact of current State and Federal Legislation and how CAPSO supports private schools in California.  This will also be helpful to our Nevada and Hawaii schools.

We are also pleased to have Dr. Eugene Kim from Concordia University Irvine. He will help us explore the rapidly evolving world of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its implications for teaching, learning, and ministry. Together, we will deepen our understanding of AI’s capabilities and limitations, examine practical strategies for integrating AI tools into classroom and administrative practice, and reflect on the ethical and spiritual questions raised by these powerful technologies.

Finally, we will have Dr. Drew Gerdes from Concordia University Nebraska to share what we can learn from "Mister Rogers"!

The cost is $195 and hotel accomondations can be made at Hampton Inn (next to the Ministry Center)
