2024 CNH District Knowledge Bowl

The CNH District Knowledge Bowl was held on May 2 at St. John’s Lutheran School in Napa, California. St. John’s has been hosting this event for almost 20 years. The Knowledge Bowl consists of teams of five students from each school competing in four rounds of twelve questions each where teams are given 20 seconds to answer each question. At the end of the time limit, teams hold up their answers. If they are correct, they receive a point. At the end of four rounds, the two highest scoring teams compete in a championship round of 25 questions. Questions cover a variety of subjects like math, science, history, geography, art, music, and current events. There were two Divisions – a 5/6th grade Division and a 7/8th grade Division. This year five schools participated in the Knowledge Bowl – St. John’s Napa, Our Savior Livermore, Zion San Francisco, Bella Vista Academy from Tracy, and Prince of Peace Fremont. This year, Zion won the 5/6th grade Championship and St. John’s won the 7/8th grade Championship. Congratulations to all of the students who participated this year.
