Your Prayers Make a Difference
Praise God along with me for the opportunity to serve these first 8 as Executive Director for Mission Awareness and Expansion in the CNH District. It has been a ride! (Watch for our early June edition of In Mission that will share an overall report of the Mission Agency over its first year in existence.) Please consider the following list of intercessions in your prayers. This list of prayers will also give you insight where much of my attention has gone these past months.
- Praise God for New starts
- Indigenous Hawaiian Ministry start (Waianae) — CNH in partnership with LIM — Clarence DeLude
- Faith Lutheran in South San Francisco — bi-lingual ministry — David Chan
- Bethlehem Carson City — S. Lake Tahoe presence, (since August 2013) — Chris Amen
- For those starts; re-plants and potential on the near horizon
- Arvin 2nd generation Hispanic (satellite plant of St. John Bakersfield) - worker to be called
- Chester/ Greenville - re-plant with assist from Nevada Circuit, CEF Mission loans, Mission Agency, and Donor partners - candidate Tyrel Bramwell
- Good Shepherd Hayward - 1.5 generation plant (mosaic of language groups, English speaking) -EIIT vicar Dawit Bokre and Aaron Putnam
- Davis Ethiopian Outreach - EIIT vicar Behranu Didanu
- St. Matthew Kauai - deacon candidates Will Pierce and Tim Hamilton
- S. Sacramento Hmong 2nd generation - Kou Seying, vicar Doua Xiong
- Second location — Addis Kidan (Bethel San Francisco)
- Potential satellite plant in Sanger (Emmanuel Clovis) - vicar Gary Gerloff

- Seeking opportunity to speak with individual potential donors about mission partnerships
- Invitation to share with congregations Mission Awareness and Expansion in CNH and beyond for Mike Lange.
- Open eyes for New Plant Opportunities
- Praise for Mission learning groups (Sacramento, Hawaii, and potential ones in Bay Area and South San Joaquin Valley on Missional Communities with Greg Finke)
- Praise for Hands on Mission Events completed: (DYG and Missions Conference)
- Future Hands on Events: (Gridley and Santa Rosa, TBD)
- Praise for 3 congregations who have taken advantage of Congregational Mission Mini-grants in 2014 and one other pending.
- Seeking God’s blessing and direction on Hispanic Mission and Ministry Expansion Opportunities through work of Hispanic round-table leaders throughout our District
- Ongoing support and training for our Missionaries presently in the field.
- For open doors towards fruitful partnerships in church planting, potential church-planting candidates, theological training, and use of missional communities with other mission leaders beyond our CNH District.
