“Sustainable Mission” is a consultation process that allows a congregation that sees itself as relatively healthy, to focus on new ministry connections to their community.  This process is not diagnostic in nature, but focuses on the ministry strengths of the congregation and how those strengths can be applied in the current era.

The process includes a number of interviews with selected staff and members to respond to three questions:

    1.     “How has the Lord been at work here in the past?”
    2.     "Where do you see the Lord calling you to new ministries in this community?”
    3.     "What gifts have you been given that may assist in the development of these new ministries?”

From these interviews, a report is generated and presented to the leadership and/or congregation for clarification and development of a plan to implement new ministries. CNH District assists with resources as they are requested by the congregation.
