The Burning Bush Project micro-grant (up to $2,400) is a one-time mission partnership between the CNH District Board of Directors and a congregation. Consider the following, when completing the grant application.

Your strategy must focus primarily on serving the community, not the congregation. Begin with asking,
  • Whom is the Lord wanting to serve in this community and in the online world?
  • How can we use our website (internet radio, podcasts, screencasts, etc) to reach and be understood by people who are not Christian?
  • What ever the missional starting place, its end point is the person and work of our Lord Jesus Christ. How does this mission strategy intend to connect Jesus with un-churched people?
Your strategy should also call for personal investment and sacrifice.
  • How is the congregation committing itself to this mission project?
  • The micro-grant is a one-year grant. How will funding continue after the first year?
Other strategic considerations:
  • What is the time-line for the project? Include due dates for specific activities.
  • How will progress in this project be reported and reviewed?
